Timing: when does the music play?
At a reception or anniversary, there are typically two musical moments:
- The reception and aperitif: 1 to 2 hours, background music while guests arrive and network
- The party moment: after any dinner or programme element, more energy, possibly dancing
Anyone wanting to fill only one moment musically chooses the aperitif — that's the moment when music determines the first impression and sets the mood for the rest of the evening.

Private or professional: does it make a difference?
A family reception for 30 people at home calls for a different approach than a corporate anniversary for 200 employees. Both are possible. For smaller, private events we advise a compact ensemble (duo or trio) that takes up little space and doesn't require a large PA set-up. For larger events, the ensemble scales up accordingly.
